A note from your host
In April 2019, I started asking engineers one question: what are the common characteristics of maintainable software? Anna Filina answered it first. Thirty-five more guests followed before the year was out.
That first class set the tone. We talked about technical debt, sure, but mostly we talked about people: how to sell refactoring to management, how to write documentation for a remote team, and how to stay curious inside a codebase you didn't write.
